Below is a table with all weapons, the class they belong to, the key to activate that class, the amount of ammo they can hold and the type of ammo they use.

Now that we know all the available weapons, it's time to studdy each weapon closely. You will find the weapons, a description (if needed), the range of attack, and any special mode they can be used in as well as the accessory required for that special mode (when applicable). 
To switch between weapon modes, you press the "T" key. Note that when activated, modes will remain active even if you switch to another weapon, and switch back to the one you were using before. Only when you log in on multi player, or if you start single player or a campaign, will the weapons be set to their default mode. The only exceptions to this rule are the M40 and the Vulcan Minigun. Their default mode is the equipped mode, wich will require you to press "T" to be able to fire the weapon.

Field kit: every medkit is used to heal yourself by 20 hitpoints (health) and to clean bloody clothes. Players standing a maximum distance of 10 tiles will be healed, will get their bloody clothes cleaned, and sprained and broken limbs healed.
Axe: has a range of two tiles, and has a normal and a defensive mode. The normal (default) mode can block some attacks, while the defensive mode does less damage but blocks more attacks.
Riot Shield: will block a lot of incoming attacks, has a range of three tiles, and can use two different modes. The normal mode has a higher blok rate, but in that mode the shield can't be swung. In the repel mode, you are able to stun the zombies by hitting them with the shield, but it does block less attacks.
Machete: has a range of 3 tiles, and has an offensive, a defensive and a counter mode. The offensive mode is the default one and can block attacks from time to time. The defensive mode does less damage but blocks more attacks. The counter mode enables you to strike quicker if a zomby attacks you, but does a lot less damage.
Sledgehammer: has "tight grip" as default mode and has "brute force" as second mode. Tight grip has a range of three tiles, while brute force has a range of four tiles. Though "Brute force" has a higher range, the mode has a slower rate of attack. 
Glock 19, Glock 17, Detonics Combat Master and MK23: all have a range of 112 tyles. All of the pistols can be silenced, wich means they will make less noise but also do less damage. The pistols require a small silencer to activate the "silenced" mode.
Browning Citori: has a range of 87 tyles and can be used in normal mode or in "Scatter Shot". Normal mode can hit only one target; Scatter shot on the other hand can hit multiple targets but deals less damage doing so.
Benelli, AA12, SPAS12 and Armsel Striker: all these shotguns have a range of 112 tiles, and just as the Browning Citori can be used in normal mode or "scatter shot". Normal mode can only hit one target, while scatter shot hits multiple targets but does less damage.
Winchester: has a normal, and a scoped mode. The normal mode has a range of 150 tiles. The scope extends the normal range to 225 tiles, and requires a Yukon Scope.
Marlin and Remington: have, just a the Winchester, a normal and a scoped mode. The normal mode has a range of 150 tiles. The scope extends the normal range to 225 tiles, and requires a Nikon Scope.
MP5 and Uzi: both SMG's have a range of 150 tiles and have three different modes. Single shot, fires just one bullet. Burst fire shoots 3 bullets an rappid succession but does a bit less damage. In "Suppressed" mode, the SMG's fire a single shot wich is quieter than the single shot, but does less damage. They both require a small suppressor to use the "Suppressed mode".
UMP45 and Vector: both SMG's have a range of 150 tiles and have three different modes. Single shot, fires just one bullet. Burst fire shoots 3 bullets an rappid succession but does a bit less damage. In "Suppressed" mode, the SMG's fire a single shot wich is quieter than the single shot, but does less damage. They both require a large suppressor to use the "Suppressed mode".
M-1928: This SMG has a range of 150 tiles and has two modes: single shot and burst fire. While single shot is more powerful, it only shoots one bullet at a time. With burst fire you can shoot three bullets in rapid succession, but it does less damage than single shot.
AR15: This assault rifle has a range of 150 tiles and two modes: single shot and burst fire. While single shot is more powerful, it only shoots one bullet at a time. With burst fire you can shoot three bullets in rapid succession, but it does less damage than single shot.
M16: this assault rifle has three different modes. Single shot has a range of 150 tiles, and uses only one bullet per shot. Burst fire shoots three bullets in rappid succession, but does a bit less damage than the single shot. In bayonet mode, the range is reduced to 3 tiles and the M16 acts as a Melee weapon. While in melee mode, the bayonet can block some of the incomming attacks. The bayonet mode requires the long bayonet.
Steyr AUG: This assault rifle has three modes: normal, burst fire and scoped. In normal mode, the range is 150 tiles, and each shot fires a single bullet. In burst fire, the damage is reduced but the AUG fires three bullets at a time. When scoped, the Stayr AUG reverts back to single shot, but the range is extended to 225 tiles. The scoped mode requires the Combat Scope.
M4A1: This assault rifle has 3 different modes. The default mode is single shot, and has a range of 150 tiles. In burst mode, the rifle shoots 3 bullets in rappid succession but it has reduced damage. The M4A1 can also be suppressed. It will fire single shots, wich will be more silent, and deal less damage than the normal mode. The suppressed mode requires a Maverick Suppressor.
SCAR-H: has a range of 150 tiles and can use single shot and burst fire. In single shot the rifle fires one single bullet. In burst fire, three bullets will be fired but the damage will be reduced.
ACR: has a range of 150 tiles and has three different modes. Single shot fires one bullet. Burst shoots three bullets but has reduced damage. The ACR can also be suppressed, wich will make it revert to single shots but will make it more quiet and reduce the damage. The suppressed mode requires a Magpul Suppressor.
AK47: has a range of 150 tiles and three different modes. Single shot fires one shot only. Burst fire shoots three bullets, but it has reduced damage. In bayonet mode, the range is reduced to 3 tiles and the AK will act as a Melee weapon. In Melee mode, the bayonet will be able to block some incomming attacks. The bayonet mode requires a short bayonet.
Shortbow: has a range of 100 tiles and no special modes.
Longbow: has three different modes wich will influence the load time, the damage and the range. The default is light pull and has a range of 125 tiles. The second mode is medium pull and has a range of 150 tiles. The third mode is heavy pull and has a range of 175 tiles. Heavy pull requires the leather bracer.
Crossbow: has a range of 175 tyles and two different modes. The default mode can only hold one arrow. In repeater mode, the Crossbow can load up to six arrows wich means you can shoot six times. For the repeater mode, you need the Crossbow magazine.
Chainsaw: has a range of 3 tiles. It has no special modes, but will require pressing "T" after you reload it (either when it was emptied or loaded for the first time). The chainsaw is able to block incomming attacks, thus could act as some kind of shield in times of need.
Flamethrower: has a range of 12 tiles. It has no special modes, but will require pressing "T" after you reload it (either when it was emptied or loaded for the first time)
M40: has a range of 300 tiles. The weapon cannot be used unless you press "T" to crouch. While crouching, you will not be able to move, and it will activate the scoped view wich comes with the sniper rifle. You have to deactivate the crouching to move again.
M60, M240, HK23E and MG4: all have a range of 175 tiles and two modes. The default mode will be more silent, but the shots will be less accurate. When you brace the Machine Guns, they will make more noise but the shots will be more accurate and your speed will be drasticly reduced. No accessories required to brace any Machine Gun.
Vulcan Minigun: this weapon has a range of 150 tiles but cannot be used unless you brace it. Equipping it will drastically slow down your speed. Bracing it will prevent you from moving all together, but lets you fire it. There is no accessory required.
M79: The grenade launcher has three different modes wich will influence the range. Short range (the default one) has a range of 36 tiles. Medium range reaches 72 tiles. And long range has a reach of 108 tiles. There is no accessory required to extend the range of the M79.

Now that we covered the weapons in depth, we will take a look at the ammo. I will list here where you can get all different types of ammo. Some ammo is only available on certain maps or in certain places, wich is why I need to list them.

9mm ammo: This ammo can be found on all main and sub maps. You can buy it in all safe zones and in all outposts.
Shotgun shells: This ammo can be found on all main and sub maps. You can buy it in all safe zones and in all outposts.
.30 calibur: This ammo can be found on all main and sub maps. You can buy it in all safe zones and in all outposts.
5.56mm ammo: This ammo can be found on all main and sub maps. You can buy it in all safe zones and in all outposts.
7.62mm ammo: You can find this ammo on all main and sub maps. To buy this ammo, you have to be level 3. You can buy it in all safe zones and all outposts.
Gas: You can find this ammo on all main and sub maps. You can buy this ammo on map2, map3, map4 and map5, and in all outposts.
.45 ACP ammo: This ammo can be found on all main and sub maps. You can buy it in all safe zones and in all outposts.
Arrows: This ammo can only be found on sub maps. You can buy it from all outposts though.
Grenade: This ammo can be found on map4 and map5 and on all sub maps. You can buy it in all outposts.
Med kit: This ammo can be found on all main and sub maps. You can buy it in all safe zones and in all outposts.

Last but not least, I will list here all locations for all weapons and accessories. If there are special requirements to be able to find something, they will be listed here too. 
Please note: the Fieldkit, the Axe and the Glock 19 belong to your default equipment. Whenever you dy, you will always have those at your disposal.

Fieldkit: As mentioned above, this is part of your starting gear. If it breaks, you can either find it on all maps, or buy it in all safe zones. You will find it rather quickly since it will be as often available as Medkits.
Axe: As part of your starting gear, this weapon is the only one that can't break.
Riot Shield: this weapon can only be found on sub1 (the second floor of the hospital).
Machete: This weapon can only be found on map1.
Sledgehammer: This weapon is available only on map5.
Glock 19: This weapon is part of your starting gear. It can be found on all main maps, and you can buy it in all safe zones.
Glock 17: This weapon can only be found on map2.
Detonics Combat Master: This weapon requires you to have at least the rank of Private. You can find it on map1.
MK23: This weapon requires you to have at least the rank of Private. You can find it on map2.
Small Silencer: You can find this accessory on all the main maps. You can also buy it on map2, map3, map4 and map5.
Browning Citori: This weapon can be found on all main maps. You can also buy it in all safe zones.
Benelli: You can find this weapon on all main maps. If you want, you can also buy it on map2, map3, map4 and map5.
AA12: This weapon can only be found on map3.
SPAS12: This weapon requires you to have at least the rank of Private. You can find it on Sub 1 (2nd floor of the hospital).
Armsel Striker: This weapon requires you to have at least the rank of Private. You can find it on Map3.
Winchester: You can find this weapon on all main maps. You can also buy it in all Safe Zones.
Yukon Scope: You can find this accessory on all main maps. You can also buy it on Map2, Map3, Map4 and Map5
Marlin: This weapon can only be found on Map1.
